Master Pak’s Martial Arts Academy was founded in 2017 with a clear purpose: to create a safe and structured place where children can grow in confidence, respect, and self-belief through traditional Korean martial arts. For Chris Pak, martial arts was never just an activity. It was a turning point.
Chris began training in martial arts at a young age and quickly realized it was more than competition. It became structure, mentorship, and stability during difficult seasons of life. As a teenager, martial arts provided guidance, discipline, and positive role models. It gave him an environment where he was challenged, supported, and held to high standards.
That experience shaped the way he teaches today.
Chris is not an old-school, intimidation-based instructor. He believes children learn best when structure and compassion work together.
He brings himself down to a child’s level to connect, listen, and understand who they are before expecting performance. Parents often describe him as approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in their child’s growth.

Chris brings high-level competitive experience and years of instructional leadership to Master Pak’s Martial Arts Academy.

Former Olympic-style competitor and recipient of one of the highest honors within his martial arts organization. His training reflects disciplined technique and advanced technical mastery.

Previously taught in a school serving 200 to 300 students and has personally guided dozens of students to Black Belt through structured, long-term development.

Teaches a complete Korean martial arts system including structured forms, practical self-defense techniques, controlled sparring, and traditional weapons training.

Has mentored students for 7 to 10+ years, guiding them from early childhood through advanced levels while emphasizing discipline, responsibility, and character growth.
Master Pak’s Martial Arts Academy primarily serves children ages 3 to 8, the developmental stage where confidence and habits begin to take root. Classes are structured, expectations are clear, and progress is measurable, yet the environment remains warm and welcoming.
Parents are encouraged to observe, ask questions, and take their time when making decisions. Policies are clear, and families are always treated with fairness, respect, and understanding.
Our mission is to help children in Katy, Cinco Ranch, and Fulshear grow into confident, respectful, and disciplined young leaders through traditional martial arts instruction grounded in structure and compassion.
Success is not measured by trophies. It is measured by the child who once hesitated to participate and now stands confidently, prepared to lead with strength and character.
